Introduction

If you are calling in sick, it is your responsibility to set your email and voicemail so that people know that you are away.

Talk with your supervisor to see who you should send inquiries to while you are away, and incorporate this information into your email auto-reply, and into your voicemail greeting.

Under no circumstances are you to reveal your passowrds / passcodes for your accounts to anyone, even your supervisor.

The computer resources can be access from any computer with internet access. A cable or xDSL connection is recommended. The voicemail can be accessed from any phone connected to the Public Switched Telephone Network

Groupware / Webmail

To connect to the SJA Groupware / Webmail server, all you need is a web browser. Go to

and it will prompt you for your username and password.

Once you are logged in, set a vacation message, and any email forwarding, if necessary.

  6. Press P (7) to listen to any new messages, or press U (8) and then G (4) to change your greeting.

You can also have someone in the office set your office phone to forward to your home phone or a mobile phone.
